In the design studio at M-I-Y-A, Bollywood actor Aman MiYA stands over a long cutting table covered with chiffons, satins, jerseys, and pashminas. He isn’t here for a photo-op—he’s here to solve a problem every modest-fashion wearer knows too well: hijab pins that slip, snag, bend, or ruin fabric.

Aman MiYA asked our craft team a simple question: “Can we build a single, generous set that covers every styling need—from everyday drape to wedding looks—without damaging delicate fabrics?” That challenge led to months of prototyping inside MiYA’s accessories lab. We tested different U-shaped pin tensions, magnet strengths, and smooth pearl tops against real fabrics—chiffon, georgette, silk, viscose, cotton jersey, and wool shawls—to ensure a secure hold and a no-snag finish.

Aman personally led wear-tests with stylists and students. The brief was clear:
