Revived from a 2007 sold-out batch, aged 17+ years. Oud oil from a 1988 tree, with deep gourmand, tobacco, and caramel notes.
🌿 Story & Description :-
There’s a kind of silence in Assam’s North Cachar Hills that speaks louder than words. A silence that hides stories in its soil, resin in its roots, and fragrance in its forgotten jungles.
Back in 1988, a solitary Aquilaria tree began its final phase of life in a secluded section of the Cachar mountain range. Towering, ancient, and wild — this tree had grown untouched in the shade of monsoon-fed mists. When it fell naturally in the early 2000s, local tribal custodians saved only its densest heartwood, soaked in wild resin from over a century of patience.
This oil is distilled from chips and inner trunk shavings taken directly from that tree. The first batch was introduced to the oud world in 2007, and quickly vanished — collectors hoarded it, enthusiasts begged for more. But what came next wasn't another release. It was silence. A vaulting of the remaining batch into a decade-plus of silent ageing — from 2007 till 2025, under controlled humidity, zero light, and strict vacuum-sealed containers. This wasn't just aging — it was curation.
In 2025, this precious oil re-emerges. Not in haste, but as an intentional offering. A matured, twice-fermented Hindi oud born from firewood stills, steel degs, and age-old Assamese technique — but refined in a modern style that removes barnyard notes and amplifies edible warmth.

>> SCENT PROFILE & EXPERIENCE
What do you get when gourmand warmth collides with vintage oud mastery?
On opening, dulce de leche vibes melt into chewy nougat and sweet pipe tobacco. Think burnt caramel over slow-cooked wood syrup, layered with earthy ambery notes and traces of vintage cigar wrappers. There’s zero barn here — no blue cheese, no rot — just dry-leaf warmth and golden molasses, smoothed over time.
Inhale after inhale, this oil unfolds like a scroll — you’ll smell leather-bound books, old cedar trunks, and copper pots that once held sugarcane jam. The drydown is leathery, woody, slightly smoky — almost like a distant fireplace still burning at the back of your memory.
It performs effortlessly across seasons — yes, even in India’s sticky summer heat. Swipe this on your wrists and feel how body heat draws out deeper tones with every passing hour. In winter, it sticks like warm syrup on skin. In summer, it smokes gently off your pulse points.
>>> WHY THIS OIL MATTERS
This isn’t just oud. This is time travel in a bottle.
For oud purists, it evokes the same reverence as the first Hindi oils they ever fell in love with — but without any of the "starter kit barnyard."
For gourmand lovers, it is a dessert in the form of incense — wearable, edible-smelling, and comforting.
For collectors, this is unrepeatable — there is no more of this wood, no replication, and no shortcuts.
Only a few grams were saved since 2007. What you're seeing now is the final release of this decade-and-a-half sleeper — and once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
